Complaints against registered health practitioners are prosecuted by the Health Care Complaints Commission before a Tribunal or a Professional Standards Committee (PSC).
Each Tribunal is legally separate from and independent of the relevant Registration Board.
NSW Medical Tribunal hearings are listed in the Sydney Civil Court Lists of the NSW District Court. Any inquiries should be directed to the NSW District Court Registry.
Persons attending a hearing must abide by any non-publications directions made by the Chair of the Tribunal and any hearing and/or media guidelines.
