The Health Care Complaints Commission is committed to protecting the health and safety of the NSW community through accessible and effective management of health care complaints. Our priorities are:

  • To deliver complaints management processes that are responsive, impartial, effective and adaptable.
  • To investigate and prosecute serious complaints to protect public health and safety.
  • To play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the NSW Health system.
  • To ensure our people have the skills and knowledge to meet current and emerging challenges and work together to deliver the best outcomes.
  • To have the relevant tools, technology and processes in place to be efficient, effective and accountable.
