Dr Peter Buys - Dentist - Registration Cancelled

The Health Care Complaints Commission (‘HCCC’) prosecuted a Complaint before the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (‘the Tribunal’) against Dr Peter Buys, a dentist.
The Stage 1 decision of 30 April 2020, found Dr Buys was guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct and professional misconduct. The details of the Stage 1 decision are set out in the Commission’s media releasewhich can be found here.
On 10 September 2020, the Tribunal determined the orders to follow its findings. The Tribunal ordered that the practitioner’s registration be cancelled with a non-review period of 12 months.
