The Commission makes the following interim prohibition order under section 41AA of the Health Care Complaints Act 1993:

Mr Brendan Russell:

  1. must not provide any health services, including medical services, whether provided as part of paid or voluntary services. Medical services include any type of minor or major surgery, whether carried out for medical, cosmetic or other purposes. 

  2. must not provide any health education services. Health education services includes training or instructing others in the provision of medical or other health services.

This interim order has been renewed and remains in force from 5 April 2021 for a further period of eight weeks.
