Mr John Yan – Massage Therapist

The Health Care Complaints Commission makes the following interim prohibition order under section 41AA of the Health Care Complaints Act 1993 (Act):
Mr John Yan, A massage therapist, must not under any circumstances provide, or cause to be provided, any health services, either in paid employment or voluntarily, to any member of the public.
For the purposes of this order 'a health service' carries the same meaning as defined under section 4 of the Act.
The Commission has previously made interim Prohibition Orders against Mr John Yan in the terms outlined above for consecutive periods of 8 weeks, first commencing on 31 August 2022. This current order is effective for a further period of 8 weeks from 15 December 2022.
