Your Health Rights

The Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Health Care developed a charter of healthcare rights for all people receiving or seeking health care in all settings in Australia. The Charter was developed with extensive and widespread consultation and specifies the key rights of patients and consumers when seeking or receiving health care services.

You can view the Charter and additional resource material for patients, consumers, families, carers and health care providers on the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Health Care website.
